Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a qualified Procurement Analyst to join our team at our world headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Procurement Analyst will develop, track, and analyze procurement metrics. Responsible for providing input and data analysis on requisition and payment processes.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Develop and track procurement KPI's/metrics including savings (EBIT & Cash), DPO, and inventories. Provide input and data analysis on spend categories, payment terms, payment method, OPEX, etc.
2. Calculate OI Nat Gas exposure by analyzing customer hedging requirements and tracking hedge positions taken and impacts to OI. Complete price lock requests and prepare price lock summary by customer.
3. Ensure availability of optimal reporting tools for management and user community to conduct analytical decision making.
4. Apply policies and processes to ensure that all sourcing activities comply with company and regulatory directives.
5. Provide expertise in processes and systems. Contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise wide procurement processes and systems.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 2-3 years work experience and proven technical proficiency with procurement processes, systems and analytic tools
2. Strong analytical, business process and problem solving capabilities
3. Business and Financial acumen; highly motivated; results oriented. Talent for building cross functional relationships and cross functional understanding.
4. Excellent communication and project mgmt skills; must take initiative and follow through on assignments in a timely fashion
5. Bachelors degree required (Business or Operations mgmt)
6. Working familiarity with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel (including pivot tables)

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree, (Business, Operations Mgmt, Finance)
2. Lean Six Sigma certified
3. SAP experience
